Several tournaments and events were held during 1921 to help the unemployed. The six Glasgow clubs in the Scottish League and four Edinburgh clubs competed in two of these competitions. The Glasgow one was played for over a month but the Edinburgh edition's final tie was delayed for almost two years due to postponements.
