The Lanarkshire Junior FA was formed in 1885 and was disbanded in 1968 when the Scottish Junior FA merged them with others in the region to form the Central Region Junior FA.

The trophy for the Lanarkshire Junior Consolation Cup trophy was originally used for the Lanarkshire 2nd XI Junior Cup. Between 1907 and 1919 it was awarded to the champions of the Lanarkshire Junior League Division 2.

The Hozier Cup was also known as the South Lanarkshire Junior Cup. During WWII it was also competed for by Lothians clubs.

The Lanarkshire Evening Citizen Cup became known as the Lanark & Lothians Cup after 1959.

The Cambuslang & District Junior FA was formed in 1883 mainly through the work of Cambuslang Athletic. Senior club Cambuslang FC presented badges for the first winners of the competition before a trophy was purchased for the second season.

Messrs W&T Wotherspoon, local sports outfitters, presented the Coatbridge & District Junior FA with a trophy in 1887 for clubs within 6 miles of the town but excluding clubs that also competed in the Lanarkshire Junior Cup.

The Clydesdale District Cup was open to clubs that were in the Clydesdale District boundary of Lanarkshire.

The Bob Reid Memorial Trophy was played between Carluke Rovers and Larkhall United.

The Salute the Soldier Cup was played for during April 1944 by Lanark & Lothian Junior League clubs. Valued at 50 GBP the trophy was to be kept by the winners.

The Shotts & District Junior FA held a cup competition for 2nd Junior teams within an 8-mile radius of Shotts. This ran from 1899-00 until 1903-04. During that short period the cup was known by several names depending on who had donated the trophy, probably a different trophy each season, the Shotts & District Reserve Cup, the Barr Cup. the Cameron Cup, the Swan Cup and the Shotts & District Cup.

It also appears that the demise of the Shotts & District Cup led to the start of the Wishaw & District Cup. Some of the later meetings of the Shotts & District Association were held in the Imperial Bar in Wishaw and the Wishaw & District Cup competition when it started was known as the Imperial Cup. The Wishaw & District Association was set up in January 1905. with the cup competition starting later that month. The Association held their AGM's in the Imperial Bar in Wishaw. Even as late as November 1905 some newspapers still referred to the cup as the Shotts & District Imperial Cup probably because it covered the same area, 10 miles around Wishaw. Shotts & District still gets referred to in 1909-10 when the first round of the Imperial cup was drawn. The last final from 1913-14 was played at Douglas Park, Hamilton.
