The Calder Shield was
the championship trophy of the Central
League. After it disbanded in 1921 the trophy was put up for competition
for the four senior Linlithgowshire clubs. In 1924
the Linlithgowshire FA had decided to play the
competition as a charity tournament but that didn’t take place. The competition
was resurrected in 1926 but was consequently abandoned.
